WunderWorks releases free multi-user, multi-mouse software BrainStormPlus 2.0.

WunderWorks, the company that supplies IBM, Barco and other global brands with specialized multi-user software, has just released a free downloadable version of its BrainStormPlus software. It enables up to 30 users to collaborate simultaneously on ONE screen, sharing ideas, and creating solutions together. The software works with multiple mice and keyboards on one PC, allowing the group members to digitally work together on a single projection screen using their own cursors.

CEO Árpád Gerecsey: "We believe multi-user software is the next big thing. Although PC's have become standard equipment in almost every environment, they have been limited to individual use. Turning the desktop into a public space brings us true digital collaboration.”

BrainStormPlus 2.0 is designed for consultants, project managers, professional trainers, and sales personnel who want to collaborate with others. For the moderator, a number of specific functions are available to keep the group focused, committed and creative. The results are immediately available in the form of reports and screen shots, resulting in greater time efficiency.

Key features of BrainStormPlus 2.0

All participants can:

  • easily input ideas
  • modify existing ideas
  • concurrently move and cluster ideas
  • do group votes
  • engage in real collaborative thinking
  • really impact the creative process

Moderators can:

  • create tabbed sessions
  • generate reports on the fly
  • change backgrounds
  • make screenshots
  • disable/freeze participants

"Quick, easy and most of all effective!" That’s how our clients describe our fully digitized group brainstorm and scenario building software”, says Mr. Gerecsey.

Collaboration is the heart of any business or creative process. Until recently, this process could only be supported digitally by using a large number of computers. BrainstormPlus 2.0 runs on ONE personal computer with multiple mice, keyboards, and other input devices. This stimulates creative interaction and increases participation and commitment. Sessions are easy to manage and reports are instantly available.

BrainStormPlus received accolades from industry leaders such as Arcadis and IBM.

Willemijn Oosterwijk, Advisor Strategy & Decision Making, Water Division, ARCADIS Netherlands BV says: “In particular the multi-user participation and simultaneous grouping and voting are very useful features of BrainStormPlus.”

Yvo Donders – Manager, IBM Forum says: “We achieve time savings of 50% compared to the traditional sessions that we do, and we are very flexible in the way we set up a process. We also save greatly on reporting time.”

About SDG (Single Display Groupware)

Researchers in Single Display Groupware (SDG) explore how multiple users share a single display such as a computer monitor, a large wall display, or an electronic tabletop display. Yet today's personal computers are designed with the assumption that one person interacts with the display at a time. With the arrival of multi-touch screens, digital whiteboards, and other new input devices like tablets, mobile phones, Nintendo®'s Wiimote and Microsoft®'s multi-touch screen support in Windows 7, the world is ready for a true multi-user environment. WunderWorks has developed and patented this multi-user-multi-input- technology.
